Free Paint Palettes

Here's a tip on how to save some money on art and craft supplies. Next time you're at the supermarket, ask at checkout if you can take some empty shelf ready packaging home with you.



Shelf ready packaging trays are the disposable plastic trays that bottles and tubs and displayed in on the supermarket shelf. Check out the ones in the Health and Beauty aisles as they make great paint palettes for kids art.



You can wash them afterwards and re-use many times. Or, if you are painting with very young children who make a big mess, you can save on washing up time after the chaos by just putting them straight into recycling.
